Arriving by train
The FFS system (= Swiss Federal Railways) is widespread and enables you to reach all of our country’s living centres. From the south: via Milan (Milano-Centrale) – Chiasso – Bellinzona – Gambarogno region. From Domodossola: along the axis of the Sempione international line and via Centovalli you reach Locarno and the Gambarogno region. From the northern axis: San Gottardo – Bellinzona – Gambarogno region.
Arriving by car
It’s easy to reach the Gambarogno region by car: from the south on the “motorway of the lakes” from Milan to the Swiss border Chiasso-Brogeda – Bellinzona, on the A2 motorway leading north, follow the signs for the Gotthard, then take the exit for Locarno and the Gambarogno region. From the north: Gotthard – Bellinzona – Gambarogno region.
